Join us for a very special Erev Shabbat this Friday
Talented composer and pianist Jeremiah Klarman returns to TBS on Friday, March 4th, at 6:00 PM for a Shabbat service filled with song. Cantorial Soloist Beth Purcell and our choir will lead joyful musical settings of the prayers written by Jeremiah and other composers. Also our PreK-Grade 2 students will lead us song and prayer. Come lend your voice!
Jeremiah is a rising composer of classical and Jewish music. He has been commissioned to write choral works by Zamir Chorale and by Temple Emanuel in honor of their 75th anniversary; his music was also featured at Shalshelet’s Jewish Liturgical Music: The Next Generation festival in NYC. An ASCAP award winner, he has performed on NPR’s “From the Top”; his music has been performed by the Boston Pops, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Landmark Orchestra, and others.
