Temple Beth Shalom is very serious about protecting the safety of its’ members and our property. Given incidents in the recent past, the temple has enhanced its’ security measures.

When unoccupied and armed our security systems incorporate 24/7 surveillance and notification to our security team and local police.

During events we have a locked door policy where in most cases doors are locked approximately 15 minutes after the the commencement of the event. Latecomers should use the doorbell by the ramp door to alert an usher of your presence. The same goes if you have to leave the Temple and re-enter.

When school is in session doors will always be locked. Ringing either the main doorbell or the ramp doorbell will prompt someone to come to the door.

If you are at the Temple during an event or while school is in session and find yourself at a doorbell, requesting entry, please be patient as we are only human and other priorities may delay the door attendant.
