Temple Beth Shalom is very serious about protecting the safety of its’ members and our property. Given the rise in anti-Semitic incidents throughout the nation the temple has enhanced its’ security measures.

When unoccupied and armed our security systems incorporate 24/7 surveillance both inside and out along with notification to our security team in the event the alarm is activated

During services and events, we have a locked door policy. Doors are continuously monitored by our ushers throughout and locked approximately 15 minutes after the commencement of the event. Latecomers should use the main doorbell or the ramp doorbell to alert an usher of your presence. The same goes if you must leave the Temple and re-enter.

When school is in session doors will always be locked. Ringing either the main doorbell or the ramp doorbell will prompt someone to come to the door.

If you are at the Temple during an event or while school is in session and find yourself at a doorbell, requesting entry, please be patient as we are only human and other priorities may delay the door attendant.
