Fish don’t see water. Birds don’t see air. And white people don’t see whiteness.

With video clips, articles, and small and large group activities, Conversations Unpacking Whiteness brings white-identified people together in a safe setting to explore aspects of our culture that prevents us from seeing ourselves and people of color without deeply
baked distortions; to understand some ways that racial divides are embedded in institutions; to try tools that can interrupt these divides; and to brainstorm about what to do with this new knowledge, allowing us to collaborate with each other and with people of color.
